Let take as an example a clerk of the General Nutrition Centers (GNC) store located in East Walpole (Massachusetts). George Touma sold anabolic steroids along with nutrition supplements. When police officers were informed about illegal actions of this man, they began to conduct an investigation. The investigation lasted circa a month and was led by The Walpole Police Department.
An undercover agent came to the shop frequently and purchased nutrition supplements. He was speaking with the clerk quite frequently. So, a friendly relation was established. Finally they discussed about anabolic steroids. The undercover police officer said that he would like to get steroids. So, he agreed to get two vials of steroids from George Touma. The police officer had to pay $300 for the preparations. The deal was arranged outside the store. After the purchase had taken place police officers detained George Touma.
As a result, the clerk of the GNC was charged with illegal possession and distribution of anabolic steroids.
